  Longest cricket match - Blunham Cricket Club sets world record

  Fastest Lunge Mile - world record set by Jamasen Rodriguez
 MODESTO, CA, USA -- Jamasen Rodriguez, a senior at Modesto High School, ran a lunge mile (1.609 kilometers) in 25 minutes 21 seconds - setting the new world record for the Fastest lunge mile.   (enlarge photo)

   Most digits of pi calculated - Shigeru Kondo and Alexander Yee sets world record
  TOKYO, Japan -- Shigeru Kondo, a Japanese systems engineer and Alexander J. Yee, an American computer science student, have calculated the value of pi to five trillion digits - setting the new world record for the Most digits of pi calculated.

  Oldest dance school graduate - world record set by Frederick Salter
  ELTHAM, UK -- Frederick Salter, a 99-year-old war hero and retired engineer, began regularly attending classes at Dance 2 Dawn, a dancing school in Eltham and has been awarded his Gold Bar after taking exams in ballroom and latin - setting the new world record for the Oldest dance school graduate.

   Running most consecutive marathons - Mike Buss sets world record
   ASHFORD, Kent, UK -- UK's highest profile Ultra Runner Mike Buss of Wiltshire, England, a former British soldier, completed his 51st marathon in 51 days at a shopping centre in Kent - setting the new world record for Running most consecutive marathons while raising funds for Help For Heroes, a charity that provides funds for wounded British soldiers.

   So far, all of his marathons have taken place on a treadmill, and most have been run in the four-and-a-half hour time range.

   Longest Pizza - world record set by Magillo Pizzeria
  KRAKOW, Poland -- The Chefs from Magillo Pizzeria used 3.5 tonnes of flour to make a 1,000m (1093 yds)-long pizza which sets the new world record for the Longest Pizza.

   Proceeds from the project will go to the Akogo charity. This was founded in 2002 by Polish actress Ewa Blaszczyk, to help children who suffer severe brain injuries. The foundation also supports their families

   Highest bicycle ride - world record set by Nik Wallenda
 PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas --Nik Wallenda, a seventh-generation high-wire daredevil, safely cycled more than 100 feet (30 m) along a wire some 260 feet above the ocean, without a safety net, along the wire strung between two hotels at the Paradise Island Atlantis resort - setting the new world record for the highest bicycle ride (without a safety net).
