your world record attempt
World Records Academy accepts
proposals for new World Records from any source.
IF a record pass our tough verification process,
it will be published on our website and included in our next
edition of WRA's Book of World Records, too.
The four basic requirements to have
a record recognized are:
1) the attempt is measurable;
2) it can be breached;
3) it should be verifiable;
4) it represent a real achievement;
5) it's legal, moral and set a good
example for others.
BEFORE
submitting your record, read these instructions
You
must register IN ADVANCE your record attempt, using
the form below, to receive our confirmation,
our rules and our official forms.
To
register your World Record attempt with us, copy and paste
the below text into your email and fill in ALL the required
info.
You must receive our written approval
for your attempt and our official forms before announcing
that you will try to set a record.

You
need to be at leat 18 yrs old to submit this application;
if you aren't, ask your parent or legal guardian to submit
the form.
Do
NOT send any email text attachements, just copy the answers
into your email as plain text.
You will get an answer (confirmation of
your attempt) within 10 days. Those who get approval
for a world record "will get the kind of media coverage
very few advertising budgets could buy."

BEFORE
submitting your record, read these instructions:
You
need to be at least 18 yr. old to submit your application;
if you aren't , send it to your parent and ask him/her to
re-send it to us.
ALL documentation needs to be in English;
press articles in foreign languages needs to be translated;
You must to provide all the requested info
in the e-mail form, to get an answer from us; we need all
these information in order to speed up the process and to
check your claim.
MEASUREMENTS: needs to be done
by State-licensed professionals / organizations only.
Your
record attempt must be confirmed with two signatures:
The FIRST signature must be from:
Mayor,
Judge,
Sheriff,
Senator, local council member, lawyer, Post
Office Chief Executive
The SECOND signature from a: CPA,
Business
owner.
You may also need signatures from
specialists confirming the size, weight, number or the lengh
of the record.
food-related records: sanitary inspector's
signature;
weight/size-based records: Official Measurer's
signature;
sport-related records: referee, coach's
signature;
public events: Mayor, Judge, Sheriff, local
council member
They have to sign our official witnesses forms;
you will receive our forms and detailed instruction for your
attempt after your attempt is approved by us.

get your world record certificate, which can contain a mention
about your sponsors or you can mention those who helped you;
- your place in our Book of Records is secured!
(unlike others, we don't "select" a very limited
number of records for inclusion in our book); if you set a
record with us, you will be listed!
